What coating materials does an AI data center actually consume?
Data centers do not buy coatings directly — their equipment suppliers do. Can TT-AC-FR flame-retardant coating be used for battery energy storage systems?
Yes. TT-AC-FR is a halogen-free, water-based acrylic coating with an adjustable flame-retardant rating up to UL94 V-0. It was developed for new-energy-vehicle battery-pack flame-retardant fabric (for BYD) and the same self-extinguishing, no-dripping, no-toxic-gas behaviour applies to stationary BESS and UPS battery cabinets designed under UL 9540A / NFPA 855 fire-safety frameworks.
Is cold spray zinc suitable for new data center steel structures?
New primary structures are typically hot-dip galvanized in the factory. Cold spray zinc complements this: it repairs weld seams, cut edges and handling damage on site, and protects substation or transmission steel during maintenance — applications where re-galvanizing is impossible.
